Biography

19 Year old Jake Canter is an avid skater and snowboarder who resides in Silverthorne, Colorado.

When Jake was just 7 years old he learned to snowboard on a plastic board with no bindings in his backyard. Just one year later, he started his journet into competing at his local hill in Evergreen, Colorado where quickly fell in love with snowboarding and dreamed of a future in the sport.

Jake's first major win was taking home the 2018 Burton US Open Jr. Jam and he continued to find major podium finishes from there on out. He is the US Team's next Olympic hopeful and one of the next generation kids to keep an eye on.

2019'-20' were break out years for Jake, earning a last minute invite to X Games Knuckle Huck and finishing in 2nd place, filming with Mark McMorris and participating in the Red Bull Recharge team event at Mammoth Mountain, Ca. Jake landed a 3rd place podium finish in 2022 at the Laax Open.

Canter's goal is to take home some major podiums at the elite level events, medal at the Olympics in the near future and travel the world creating awesome content with his friends.
