Sharing a like-minded approach to designs that last, Packer and G-SHOCK's first collaborative project celebrates a legacy of endurance.
This collaboration began with the idea of unearthing the DW5600 as a relic with design features complementing the model’s resilience. A tri-colored resin case, bezel, and band boasts a gradient shift in color inspired by wear and tear, while a cracked electroluminescent backlight showcases its longevity. Other features such as a glyph-inspired protective tin and caseback design represents a discovery in time: past, present, or future. A tonal resin strap is also included for modularity.
Packer Shoe
Founded in 1907, the original Packer Shoe store, located in Yonkers, NY, was a cornerstone institution of Ashburton Avenue for over ninety years. Those roots ultimately became the foundation for the launch of the next generation store in Teaneck, New Jersey back in 2003. What began as an extension of a local family business spanning three generations has grown into a globally recognized destination, rich in knowledge and passion for the culture and the product they carry.
As one of the pioneering boutique sneaker shops in the U.S., they have been building lasting relationships with brands and their customers since their doors first opened, eventually expanding to a second location in Jersey City.
Thanks to their incomparable heritage, thoughtful curation of product, and a proven track record of successful collaborative projects with top brands in the industry, they continue to thrive and stand proudly as one of the most respected and well-known retailers in the world.
